An AutoCAD III course will begin on Tuesday evening January 6, 2009 and run for 14 consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6pm until 10pm.
Members wishing to take this course must have completed AutoCAD I and AutoCAD II. This course is open to any journeyman member of the union.
There is a $150 textbook fee for the UA AutoCAD #3D Drawing and Modeling Manual with E-book CD that explains the fundamentals of the three-dimensional model creation within the AutoCAD 3D space. The manual and CD provide the command utilization required for creation of the 3D object models, including surfaces and solids. In addition it covers the modifying and manipulation of these objects, working and navigating within the 3D coordinate system, and the ability to view AutoCAD models in various formats.
BE ADVISED---YOU WILL NEED AUTO CAD SOFTWARE TO RUN THE EXERCISE INCLUDED WITH THE INSTRUCTIONAL CD. AutoCAD student license software is available for $165-$380.
