UA Foreman Recertification

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE UA FOREMAN CERTIFICATION
The UA Foreman Certification is valid for a four-year period. Before expiration of their four-year certification, individuals are required to recertify as follows:
1. Attend a minimum of three hour up-date training provided by the Local union Training Facility.
2. Individuals providing documented evidence they have worked as a foreman for at least 1500 hours during their four-year certification period and have previously taken the foreman certification exam will be recertified as a UA Foreman. (Form from UA website)
3. Individuals working less than 1500 hours as specified must pass the UA Foreman Certification Examination with a score of 80% or above. Should the individual score less than 80% on the examination it is recommended they take the 20 hour UA Foreman Refresher Training Course before retaking the certification examination.
4. Individuals who originally certified in accordance with the professional acknowledgement provision must take and pass the UA Foreman Certification Examination before the end of their initial four-year certification period to recertify.
